The Actuarial and Analytics team is where you can hone your problem-solving abilities, develop inspired solutions to emerging issues, and grow into a technical insurance leader within CIG.

The Actuarial Summer Internship is a fully in-office position from either our Reno, NV or Monterey, CA office.

CIG recognizes the value of investing in our future leaders and has prioritized the development of an industry-leading Actuarial Internship Program. Our actuarial interns will gain industry expertise in core actuarial disciplines, as well as lead their own analysis under the supervision of the seasoned actuaries.

• Pursuing or possessing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Actuarial Science, Computer Science, Data Science, Economics, Statistics, or related quantitative subjects.
• Completion of one or more actuarial exams is highly preferred.
• GPA of 3.6 or higher is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of SQL and Python or R is preferred.
• Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future visa sponsorship.
