Under the direction of the Director of Finance & Controller, the analyst will support and manage a variety of financial analysis and reporting. This includes completing month end procedures (journal entries, reconciliations, etc.), preparing and reviewing financial reporting and analysis, assisting with audit procedures and budget processes, and completing various ad-hoc requests. The candidate is expected to work closely with other members of the finance team as well as other business units and external constituents.

• Individual must be located within the Reno, NV region
• Ability to travel % within the State of Nevada parameters

• B.A. in accounting or finance.
• Eight or more years of related experience as described above can be used in substitution of a B.A. degree.
• Strong financial analysis acumen organization and attention to detail.
• Ability to drive performance and create process efficiencies.
• Health plan experience preferred.
• Advanced excel skills.
• Ability to effectively communicate in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills. Strong computer skills; must be a practiced user in Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical skills which enable the identification of financial improvement opportunities and the establishment of practical and actionable initiatives that drive impact Ability to analyze both quantitatively and qualitatively to problem solve and drive outcomes
• Strong communication (verbal and written) and presentation skills. Ability to articulate in a clear and effective manner.
