As a Transmission Line Design Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the design, analysis, and optimization of transmission lines vital to the electrical grid. • Design and optimize transmission lines using PLS-CADD Design software.
• Conduct engineering tasks related to transmission line design, ensuring compliance with NESC and NERC standards.
• Collaborate across teams to manage projects, oversee construction activities, and ensure timely and budget-compliant project completion.
• Perform inspections, assess maintenance needs, and implement upgrades to enhance transmission network reliability and efficiency.
• Interface with project teams to oversee works and ensure alignment with engineering specifications.
• Utilities industry experience with a focus on transmission lines.
• Proficiency in PLS-CADD with proficient-level capabilities.
• Strong understanding and application of NESC and NERC standards.
