Victory Woodworks is seeking a proactive, detail-oriented, and reliable Project Engineer/Assistant Project Manager/Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating architectural woodworking projects, ensuring that they are executed with precision, quality, and efficiency. As a key player in the project lifecycle, you will work closely with internal draftsman, engineers, shop, and field team members to solve problems and ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within budget.

You must be a self-starter with a strong work ethic, a sense of accountability, and a commitment to excellence.

(This is not a design role).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Coordination:
    Oversee the management of shop drawings, sample approvals, and procurement processes to ensure that all components align with the project’s specifications, timelines, and budget. The role requires strong communication, organizational, and problem solving skills to ensure that every stage of the project runs smoothly and efficiently
  • Technical Drawings & Specifications:
    Review, and maintain detailed technical drawings and specifications, ensuring that all plans are precise and accurate for fabrication and installation
  • Quality Control:
    Take responsibility for the quality of all work, ensuring that the final product meets or exceeds client expectations and project standards through continuous inspection during fabrication and installation
  • Scheduling & Timeline Management:
    Proactively develop and maintain project timelines, ensuring deadlines are met. Communicate with internal teams, vendors, and clients regarding progress, potential delays, and corrective actions
  • Problem Solving:
    Exhibit excellent problem-solving skills by quickly identifying issues, offering solutions, and collaborating with teams to resolve challenges efficiently and effectively
  • Client Communication:
    Act as a reliable point of contact for clients, providing timely updates, managing expectations, and ensuring all deliverables are met on schedule

Qualifications:

  • Education:

    Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or similar
  • Communication

    Skills:

    Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Able to collaborate with clients, suppliers, and team members to ensure clarity, understanding, and accountability
  • Attention to Detail: A meticulous approach to work with a strong focus on quality, ensuring that all aspects of the project are executed precisely according to specifications.
  • Problem-Solving:
    Proven ability to think critically and solve problems quickly, keeping projects on track and minimizing disruptions
  • Task Management:
    Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Reliability & Accountability: A responsible, dependable team member who consistently meets deadlines and takes ownership of all aspects of the project. Willingness to take full responsibility for project success and outcomes
  • Work Ethic: A strong work ethic and drive for excellence. The ideal candidate will demonstrate initiative, determination, and a willingness to go above and beyond to meet project goals
  • Software Proficiency:
    Experience with project management software such as Procore, Microsoft Project, or similar tools
  • Ability to come onsite 5 days a week in Reno Sparks facility
  • Authorized to work in the US, without sponsorship, now and in the future

Pay:
From $50,000.00 per year, depends on experience (DOE)
