The City of Reno is currently accepting applications for various Youth part-time positions. We have many positions available that cater to different interests and skills. Salaries and hours vary by position and may include evenings, weekends and holidays.

- Youth Activity Lead ($16.75–$18.75/hour)
- Youth Activity Site Attendant III ($15–$16.50/hour)
- Youth Activity Site Attendant II ($13–$14.25/hour)

Youth Activity Lead- Independently lead program curriculum and administrative projects.
- Facilitate program direction and supervise junior staff.
- Monitor and enforce policies, rules, and safety regulations governing the conduct of patrons and staff.
- Independently leads participants in activities and/or may monitor activities led by other staff.
- Communicates with patrons in alignment with Youth program standards.
- May perform higher-level clerical functions such as drafting incident reports and maintaining documentation.
- Leads participants in activities & directs facility use as assigned.
Some positions may have a higher age requirement than 15 and require additional certifications for employment. The minimum qualification requirements for the Youth positions can be found below.
Youth Activity Lead- Age: 18
- Education:
High school diploma or equivalent - Experience:
Six months paid experience leading recreation programs or similar work
- Age: 16
- Education:
One year of high school - Experience:
Six months paid experience leading recreation programs or similar work
- Age: 15
