* The successful candidate must hold a doctoral degree from a CACREP-accredited program in counselor education or have entered the counselor education field prior to 2013.
* The applicant must have training, clinical experience, and/or teaching experience in school counseling, marriage, couple, and family counseling, and/or clinical mental health counseling.
* The successful candidate should be licensed/credentialed or eligible for licensure in their specialty area (i.e., School Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, and/or Clinical Mental Health) and be eligible for licensure in the state of Nevada.
* Demonstrated engagement within counselor education and counseling professional organizations.
* Demonstrated research engagement through publications, presentations, grants and contracts, and/or doctoral research mentorship.
* A clearly defined counselor educator identity that aligns with at least one of our specialization areas.
* Interest in program leadership (e.g., program coordination, facilitating program meetings, leading strategic initiatives).
* Remote/online teaching experience.
* Preference will be given to applicants who are eligible for marriage, couple, and family, school counseling, or clinical mental health licensure in Nevada, and those with supporting expertise of professional involvement.
* We seek candidates with a strong commitment to social justice, multiculturalism and inclusion, and advocacy for marginalized populations, aligning with the ACA multicultural and social justice counseling competencies.
