Pulmonology Physician

Overview

Not-for-profit locally governed healthcare network. Level II Trauma Center 808-bed Medical Center. The Intensivist team is physician led and will operate in a closed ICU with the Intensivist serving as head of the multidisciplinary team, overseeing and managing all ICU patients and working closely with surgeons, emergency medicine physicians, pulmonary medicine physicians, hospitalists and support staff.

• Operate in a closed ICU with the Intensivist as head of the multidisciplinary team; oversee and manage all ICU patients.
• Collaborate with surgeons, emergency medicine physicians, pulmonary medicine physicians, hospitalists and support staff.
• Teach Residents and Medical Students – University of Nevada, Reno Medical School.
• Block schedule: 7 days on / 7 days off.

• Board Certified in Critical Care Medicine
• Employed position in a hospital setting
• Experience with closed ICU operations and multidisciplinary teams (as described above)
• Not-for-profit healthcare network experience is not required to list here beyond organizational context

• $2624 per shift + Quality Bonus
