Work closely with technicians, service teams, and call center staff.
As a Dispatcher, you’ll be responsible for efficiently coordinating and deploying technicians while ensuring an exceptional customer experience.
Responsibilities- Dispatching and deploying technicians promptly to meet customer needs.
- Ensuring response times align with company standards and maintenance agreements.
- Attending ongoing training to stay updated on company services and offerings.
- Partnering with service, sales, and operations teams to schedule and reschedule jobs as needed.
- Managing material and equipment ordering.
- Tracking technician locations and updating customers on estimated arrival times.
- Reviewing, verifying, and confirming service calls 24 hours in advance.
- Ensuring the call center has booked calls correctly before dispatching technicians.
- Selling and renewing service agreements.
- Assisting in compliance management for technician documentation.
- Building and scheduling projects efficiently.
- Maintaining clear and accurate communication between technicians, customers, and internal teams.
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Effective communication and customer service abilities
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Problem-solving skills and ability to manage technician schedules effectively
- Basic knowledge of HVAC and plumbing services (preferred but not required)
- Experience with dispatching software such as Service Titan (preferred)
This position requires prolonged periods of sitting, speaking on the phone, and working on a computer. You must be able to read, write, listen, and communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
