WhatYou'll Do
As a Bank Teller, you’ll be the friendly face our customers rely on. Your day-to-day will include:
- Processing transactions like deposits, withdrawals, and payments with accuracy and efficiency. Providing top‑notch customer service and answering account‑related questions.
- Identifying customer needs and recommending appropriate banking products or services.
- Maintaining a balanced cash drawer and ensuring compliance with security procedures.
- Assisting with ATM and night deposit transactions.
- Learning and growing through training opportunities—including potential cross‑training in new accounts.
- Other duties as assigned.
What You Bring
- At least six months of customer service and cash handling experience—banking experience is a plus!
- Comfortable handling cash and balancing transactions.
- Enjoy working in a team and building relationships with customers.
- Strong communication skills and keen attention to detail.
- Ability to handle difficult situations with professionalism.
- Ability to take positive and constructive criticism and apply it to the job.
- Eager to learn and grow in the banking industry.
You'll be working in a comfortable, climate‑controlled office with a great team and a collaborative atmosphere. While it’s mostly a counter type desk job, there’s a lot of movement involved to keep things interesting!
Here’s what you can expect:
- You’ll spend a good part of your day standing and working at a computer, helping customers, and handling transactions.
- Occasionally, you’ll sit, walk, reach, or even crouch (though we promise, not too much crouching!).
- From time to time, you may need to lift or move up to 30 pounds.
- Use office equipment like computers, phones, and copiers.
- Reliability is key—we count on our team to be punctual and present.
- In rare cases, you may need to work extended hours or travel off‑site.
- If there’s an emergency, you should be able to navigate outside safely.
- Must have adequate vision—close and distance vision, color recognition, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
- Support for accommodations if required.
Compensation & Benefits
Starting salary is dependent upon relevant experience and may vary based on the geographic location of the position. We also offer a generous Paid Time Off (PTO) plan and paid holidays. PTO accruals begin at .0745 per hour worked for part‑time employees and up to a maximum of 240 hours per year for certain full‑time employees. PTO accruals depend on position, status, and years of experience. Most full‑time employees are offered 6 paid holidays; part‑time employees receive pro‑rated paid holidays.
Employees in Utah and Nevada may be eligible for pay for certain state‑recognized holidays.
