RoleJoy Engineering is seeking a full‑time Project Engineer based in Reno, NV to support earthwork and underground utility projects. This position is primarily office‑based, with regular field involvement supporting active job sites. Responsibilities include takeoffs and estimating support, cost and quantity tracking, document control, coordination with Project Managers and Superintendents, and on‑site support to help ensure work is performed safely, accurately, and in accordance with project requirements.
Must have ability to work 50 hrs per week.
- 0–2 years of experience in construction, engineering, or a related field
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (preferred) or Construction Management Degree.
- Strong computer and Excel skills
- Exposure to or experience with Heavy Bid, AGTEK, Civil 3D or similar software is a plus
- Interest in heavy civil construction and willingness to learn earthwork and underground utility operations
- Ability to work in both office and field environments
- Familiarity with construction documents, plans, and specifications is a plus
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Prior internship or construction experience is beneficial
