Structural Steel Project Manager

Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Structural Steel Project Manager to oversee fabrication and erection projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate will bring 5+ years of experience managing structural steel work, including coordination with shop teams, field crews, vendors, and general contractors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage structural steel projects from planning through closeout
• Coordinate with fabrication shops and erection crews to maintain schedule and quality
• Review drawings, specifications, and project requirements
• Oversee budgets, RFIs, change orders, and project documentation
• Communicate with clients, engineers, and internal teams
• Ensure safety, quality, and compliance across all phases of the project
• Resolve site issues and support field teams as needed

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in structural steel fabrication and erection project management
• Strong understanding of steel detailing, fabrication processes, and field installation
• Ability to read structural drawings and coordinate with engineering teams
• Proven communication, organization, and leadership skills
• Proficiency with common construction/project management software is a plus
