Responsibilities

  • Budget and Cost Control: develop and maintain project budgets, closely monitor costs, and implement cost‑saving strategies.
  • Scheduling: create and manage project schedules, track progress, and ensure deadlines are met.
  • Team Leadership: collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including architects, subcontractors, and construction crews, to ensure effective project execution.
  • Quality Assurance: ensure that all work meets high‑quality standards and that project specifications are strictly adhered to.
  • Client Communication: maintain excellent communication with clients, providing project updates, addressing concerns, and ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Risk Management:

    identify and mitigate potential project risks and issues to maintain a smooth construction process.
  • Constructibility: review and verify constructibility of the plans and specifications.
  • Close Out: manage the project close‑out process, including final punch list work, change orders, and O&M/Warranty documentation.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 7 years of project management experience in grading, site‑work and pipe construction.
  • Proficient in reviewing and understanding all construction documents including plans, specifications and geotechnical reports.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Exceptional problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in construction management software and project scheduling tools.
  • Manage change orders, RFIs and submittal process, and deliver projects on time and on budget.
  • Positive attitude, professional workmanship and excellent communication skills.
  • Detail oriented, organized and results driven with a sense of urgency.
  • Knowledge of local building codes and regulations.
  • Knowledge of HCSS Heavy Job/Heavy Bid/Plans.
  • OSHA 10/30 certification.
