Position Overview

As a Safety Specialist, you will support day-to-day safety operations in the field, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as company safety standards. This role plays a key part in promoting a positive safety culture and providing guidance to field crews and subcontractors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular site safety audits, inspections, and hazard assessments
  • Assist crews with Job Hazard Analyses (JHA) and safety planning
  • Provide hands-on coaching and guidance to ensure safe work practices
  • Investigate incidents, near misses, and implement corrective actions
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA and other regulatory requirements
  • Maintain accurate safety documentation and reporting
  • Support onboarding and ongoing safety training for field personnel
  • Help develop and reinforce company safety initiatives
Qualifications
  • Five (5) years in construction safety, working in construction environments
  • OSHA 30
  • Knowledge of OSHA standards and construction safety practices
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to identify hazards and recommend practical solutions
  • Experience with field incident investigations
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
