Overview
Biggest Little Learning Center – Reno, NV, US
Responsibilities- Assist in the implementation of curriculum activities and encourage participation by children.
- Actively engage in activities; manage cleanliness, maintenance, and availability of classroom materials.
- Maintain frequent communications with parents through informal discussions and progress reports through our app.
- Encourage self-help and good hygiene through behavior modeling.
- Help ensure a smooth, daily transition from home to child care center.
- Follow all center policies and state regulations.
- Maintain a personal professional development plan to ensure continuous quality improvement.
- Background check
- TB test
- Required training within 120 days of employment
- Must be able to lift 35 pounds
- Previous childcare or preschool experience
- Experience with infants/toddlers (if applicable)
- CPR / First Aid certified
- Knowledge of QRIS / NAEYC practices
- Classroom management skills + positive guidance experience
- Familiarity with developmentally appropriate practice (DAP)
- Comfortable documenting activities/communication (daily sheets, apps, etc.)
- Team player with strong communication skills
- Dependable attendance + punctuality
- CDA coursework completed or currently enrolled
