About the Position

We are seeking an experienced Product Manager responsible for leading the development, enhancement, and management of logistics products. You will work with cross-functional teams to drive strategic vision, product strategy, and execution to deliver innovative logistics solutions. The role involves deep market research, understanding customer needs, and translating them into actionable product strategies, while mentoring junior product managers.

Essential job functions

Essential activities include but are not limited to:

  • Conduct comprehensive market research to identify market trends, customer pain points, and competitor offerings in the logistics industry.
  • Analyze market data, customer feedback, user journeys, and industry insights to identify new product opportunities and make data-driven decisions.
  • Pitch product solutions to leadership, justify the business case for tech roadmap prioritization, and define the strategic vision, goals, and roadmap for logistics products aligned with business objectives.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize features, define requirements through PRDs, and create a clear, actionable product roadmap.
  • Work with engineering and design teams to translate product requirements into well-defined specifications and user stories.
  • Lead the product development process, including sprint planning, backlog prioritization, and timely delivery of high-quality logistics solutions.
  • Develop comprehensive go-to-market strategies, including product positioning, messaging, pricing, and sales enablement materials.
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to drive successful product launches and support ongoing sales efforts.
  • Monitor key product performance metrics, customer satisfaction, and market adoption to identify areas for improvement.
  • Continuously gather customer feedback, market insights, and industry trends to refine and enhance logistics products.
Basic qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Product Manager, preferably in startup and complex environments.
  • Clear written, spoken, and presentation skills, with a bias toward thorough communication and inclusivity.
  • Understanding of the software development lifecycle and ability to prioritize based on data and key deliverables.
  • Experience crafting long-term vision and quarterly roadmaps from market insights and customer research.
  • Business acumen with curiosity to learn and become an expert on a complex product.
  • Proven experience transforming independent products into a cohesive platform.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced degree (MBA a plus).
  • Superior analytical and quantitative skills, comfortable with complex data.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with UX design and multiple software development teams.
  • Ability to work in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment.
  • Independent work style with strong attention to detail and a passion for executing strategy to deliver results.
  • Experience presenting to senior leadership.
