WE ARE GROWING! United Nissan is seeking a Lube Technician to join our award-winning team! Be a part of one of the most successful Nissan dealerships in the United States!

PURPOSE:

This entry-level position requires the ability to perform light maintenance and repairs, including lube, oil, and filter changes, tire balancing and rotation, and cooling system flushes.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

  • Perform work outlined on repair orders efficiently and accurately, following dealership and factory standards.
  • Sell lubrication, safety inspections, and related services; maintain records and follow up with customers as needed.
  • Check tire pressure and add air if necessary.
  • Coordinate with parts department to obtain needed parts.
  • Tag and save parts for warranty or customer requests.
  • Inspect vehicles to determine if further safety or service work is needed.
  • Communicate with service advisors about additional work or delays.
  • Document all work performed and recommendations.
  • Road test vehicles to ensure proper operation.
  • Participate in training programs and stay updated with manufacturer bulletins.
  • Inspect and test drive new vehicles for damage or missing components.
  • Report machinery issues to supervisors.
  • Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report any damage or changes.
  • Keep shop area neat and tools organized.
  • Operate tools safely and report safety issues immediately.
  • Inspect vehicles for damage or missing parts and report findings.
  • Complete vehicle inspection reports and communicate findings.
  • Perform repairs and services as indicated, and communicate additional needs.
  • Inspect and repair tires, and report unsafe damage.
  • Maintain tools and equipment in good condition.
  • Promote safety, sales, and customer satisfaction through suggestions and recommendations.
