We are a family‑owned Business with 4,000 rental units under Management and two new Apartment Communities under active construction in the North Reno Market. Position OverviewThe Staff Accountant will be responsible for invoice generation, credit card program processing and reconciliations, intercompany charges and bill‑backs, and maintaining accurate account reconciliations. This role will monitor compliance with Accounting Principles and applicable regulations while ensuring the timeliness and accuracy of all deliverables.
The position requires close collaboration with internal teams and external partners to maintain accurate, transparent, and audit‑ready financial records. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to build effective working relationships while contributing to a team‑oriented environment.
Main Responsibilities- Operate with a strong operations‑focused mindset while fostering collaboration across departments
- Full cycle corporate accounts receivable and payables
- Provide accounting support and partnership to Property Managers and on‑site administrative teams
- Support tenant payment portal activity and electronic vendor billing processes
- Maintain accounting controls by adhering to company policies and procedures and collaborating with staff and management

-5 years’ experience working with accounting matters. - Ability to work independently and effectively manage time to meet monthly deadlines
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Multiple‑entity environments with heavy intercompany transactions
- GL Software (Real Page, Quick Books, Rent Manager) or similar
