Overview

Project Manager role at Integral UK Ltd (part of JLL). Responsible for the safe execution of a portfolio of concurrent projects for various Rolls Royce sites, ensuring delivery to Integral & Rolls Royce standards in health, safety, quality, cost and programme, while complying as a Principal Contractor with current CDM legislation, including MS18 and CSO6 Rolls Royce standards. Relevant qualifications in a related trade (mechanical, electrical, civil engineering, building fabric, roofing, etc.).

What

You Will Be Doing
  • Execute projects with values typically between £50k and £15m across Rolls Royce sites, ensuring delivery in line with the NEC3 Framework Contract and contracted programme.
  • Provide health and safety leadership to site delivery teams (including sub-contractors and suppliers) and promote behavioural safety improvements; ensure policies and procedures including Health & Safety, Quality Assurance and Engineering standards are followed.
  • Support project risk management and establish effective controls for safe and timely delivery.
  • Lead in the production and risk management of quotations and estimates.
  • Maintain strong client/stakeholder relationships to protect and enhance the company’s reputation at project level.
  • Coach, mentor and develop direct reports and trainees.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Design Manager to ensure robust, workable, economic and constructible designs.
  • Support opportunities to realise, maintain and improve commercial project performance.
  • Coordinate with Rolls Royce Project Managers to ensure compliance with MS18, CS06 and current delivery programme and cost plan.
  • Enhance contract delivery to maintain high standards of quality in accordance with programme delivery and relevant British Standards, codes of practice and Rolls Royce standards.
  • Ensure projects are completed snag- and defect-free and that post-completion deliverables (final accounts, Operation & Maintenance information) are delivered within contracted timescales.
What We Will Need From You
  • Proven and demonstrable experience as a Project Manager within the building/construction/building services industries (essential).
  • Experience of working in occupied buildings/campuses (essential).
  • Experience with NEC3 Contracts (essential).
  • Experience managing health and safety procedures with knowledge of H&S standards/regulations across multiple sites (essential).
  • Experience in preparation of quotations and estimates (essential).
  • Ability to understand customers’ business requirements (essential).
  • City & Guilds / NVQ (or equivalent) construction-related qualification (essential).
  • SMSTS, JIB/BESA, CSCS Card, First Aid (essential).
  • Competent user of IT software including MS Office and Fieldview or similar tablet-based QA software (essential).
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with clear and confident written and verbal communication (essential).
  • Strong organisational and time-management abilities to drive and meet deadlines (essential).
  • Self-motivated with initiative and problem-solving ability (essential).
  • Commitment to providing a high-quality service with reliability, conscientiousness and flexibility (essential).
