Senior Research & Development Technician

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Senior Research and Development Technician. The successful candidate will aid the development of Class III medical devices in accordance with relevant procedures through provision of test support.

This role requires close collaboration with our product development teams throughout the product lifecycle and involves participation in project meetings and various cross‑functional activities.

• Under guidance of Product Development Engineers / Scientists, carry out mechanical and chemical tests on products during product development.
• Creation of test reports to feedback to project teams.
• Liaise with Technical Support Team throughout product development lifecycle.
• Participate in project team meetings.
• Provide training and support during transfer to verification stage of the product development lifecycle.
• Work alongside other members of the Technical Support Team to ensure cleanliness of product development laboratory areas and compliance with Health & Safety regulations.
• Provide guidance to new / junior team members.
• Coordinate small scale projects under guidance of Product Development Engineers.
• Participate in Change Control Process.

• Technical degree or qualification desirable.
• Working knowledge of MS Office applications
• Working knowledge of Solid Works or equivalent desirable.
• Knowledge of basic statistical tools and data plotting (excel based)
• Working knowledge of Master Control system desirable.
