Responsibilities
  • Assist the Store Manager in upholding the daily store operations to ensure maximum sales and profitability through merchandising execution, managing expenses and inventory, training and development of the store team, human resources management, and outstanding customer service.
  • Responsible for the overall quality and performance of the retail store staff.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures.
  • Model effective leadership to gain commitment to store goals and training standards.
  • Assist with recruitment, selection, training, and development of store personnel.
  • Assist with and provide feedback on annual performance evaluations for all store employees.
  • Assist with expense management and develop strategies that position stores to perform in accordance with the budget.
  • Assist Store Manager with monitoring and identifying issues related to loss or inconsistencies to ensure shrink meets or falls below the company plan.
  • Monitor and control all aspects of operational compliance, safety, and business standards.
  • Support the training of all employees in suggested selling and merchandising techniques.
  • Ensure company customer service standards are upheld so that each customer receives outstanding service in a friendly environment.
  • Assist in the completion of accurate and regular merchandise inventory counts.
  • Perform other duties as may be assigned.
  • A standard work week not to exceed 40 hours.
  • Flexible schedule required, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Qualifications Education And/Or Experience
  • Requires a minimum of one (1) year in retail management.
Skills And Knowledge Requirements
  • Solid knowledge of business and excellent command of the English language to communicate effectively with management, associates, and customers.
  • High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations; poise, tact, and diplomacy.
  • Ability to think strategically, plan, and organize effectively.
  • Maintain a high degree of professionalism in all situations.
  • Analytical ability to gather and summarize data for reports, solve administrative problems, and prioritize work.
  • Results-driven with strong project management, time management, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to exercise discretion, confidentiality, and independent judgment with diplomacy.
  • Ability to plan, organize, multi-task, and adapt to changing demands from multiple sources.
  • Ability to execute directives with precision and consistency.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
  • Willing to work in multiple stores in the assigned district.
Physical Requirements
  • Stand for extended periods; lift, carry, push/pull up to 50 lbs.
  • Work extended hours during critical project phases; fast-paced, dynamic environment with flexibility.
  • Must have reliable transportation and be willing to travel via car, plane, or train.
Compensation and Benefits

Assistant Manager pay range: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
. Bonus opportunity if guidelines are met. All roles are eligible for the company 401K plan. Full-time roles are eligible for medical, dental, vision, and company-paid time off.
