They are currently seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join their Project Consultancy team in Surrey, UK and play a key role in delivering high-quality, value-driven projects for their clients.
The Role
As a Quantity Surveyor, you'll be part of a dynamic, multi-disciplinary team providing cost management and commercial support across a range of minor capital works and project activity. Reporting to the Project Commercial Lead, you'll work closely with project leads, senior account members, and client stakeholders.
You'll be trusted to manage the full commercial lifecycle of projects, from cost planning and procurement through to contract administration and final accounts - while helping us continually improve how we deliver value to our clients.
What You'll Be Doing
You will:
Provide cost management support to projects, ensuring budgets and resources are optimised
Prepare and manage tender documentation, evaluations, and award reports
Undertake cost planning, estimating, and feasibility studies
Administer contracts and manage valuations and final accounts
Advise on procurement strategies and contract selection (including NEC4)
Act as a key commercial interface with clients, consultants, and stakeholders
Identify opportunities to improve cost management systems and processes
Support supplier performance management and value engineering
About You
You're a motivated and collaborative Quantity Surveyor who enjoys working in a fast-paced, client-focused environment. You bring strong commercial awareness, attention to detail, and the confidence to manage competing priorities.
You'll ideally have:
A relevant degree (or equivalent) in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
Working towards or holding membership of RICS or CIOB
Experience with NEC4 contracts
A proactive, solutions-focused mindset
The ability to work under pressure and manage varied workloads
A commitment to diversity, inclusion, and teamwork
DBS clearance is required. Regular travel to sites and partner offices will form part of the role.
