Contract Manager / Construction Manager required for residential developer based in the South East. They have secured some sizeable projects and will be growing their business significantly in the next two years.

Contracts Manager / Construction Manager with experience in pre‑construction stages as well as overseeing multiple live projects on site, with Site Managers leading day‑to‑day activity.

• Deliver new build construction project throughout pre‑construction to completed projects on site.
• To be an active communicator focused on project completion to time, cost and quality.
• Building long‑term relationships with clients by delivering excellent service.
• Liaising with clients in respect of technical matters, programme and project delivery.
• Taking full responsibility for technical, contract and cost matters for projects within your control – liaising with all internal departments and external consultants.
• Leading project teams, whilst liaising with manufacturing teams.
• Risk analysis and risk management of individual projects.
• Programming of projects.
• Managing site and project meetings effectively and ensuring actions arising are completed.
• Review and constructively comment on design drawings for all types of new build property.
• Understanding your projects milestones and cost control.
• Identifying variances to the delivered scope of services and advising clients and project teams.
• Supporting invoicing and cash flow projections on your projects.
• Overseeing works undertaken by support staff as appropriate.
