Kenneth Brian Associates are working on a new role for a company based in Reigate, who have an opportunity for an experienced Buying/Procurement/Supply Planning professional to join their team.

This role will work closely with management and the wider team, and will have responsibility for the full purchasing process.

• Sourcing products, ensuring that they meet customer specifications
• Delivering the best combination of price, lead time and quality
• Negotiating best prices and payment terms from suppliers
• Ensuring compliance with ethical sourcing policies
• Liaising with in-house logistics team
• Managing customer tenders
• Raising purchase orders and using order processing system
• Maintaining accurate records
• Ensuring that delivery, availability and stock target are achieved
• Researching and introducing new suppliers

• A strong Buying/Procurement/Supply Planning background, in a commercial environment
• Excellent negotiation, time management and communication skills
• Knowledge of international shipping, duties and delivery processes
• Strong IT skills
