Maintenance Technician

Our client, a leading manufacturing organization in the food processing industry, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join their team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting the production team. The ideal candidate will have problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Location: Reidsville, North Carolina

Pay Range: Up to $30.65

What's the Job?

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair manufacturing equipment, utilities, and facility systems.
• Analyze plant equipment for failures, design flaws, and operational issues to ensure smooth production.
• Determine specifications and requirements for spare parts and replacements to minimize downtime.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain compliance with all safety and environmental regulations.
• Collaborate with team members to improve maintenance processes and equipment reliability.

What's Needed?

• High school diploma or GED; technical school education in electrical, mechanical, or electronic maintenance preferred.
• 2-5 years of industrial maintenance experience, including mechanics, hydraulics, pneumatics, electronics, PLC controls, and power transmission equipment.
• Experience with forklifts, HAZMAT handling, and sanitary welding is a plus.
• Ability to work a rotating schedule, including weekends, with flexibility for weekend work.
• Strong mechanical and electrical skillset with a focus on safety and efficiency.
