Lake Maintenance; Rover

Responsibilities include a variety of light and heavy park/lake maintenance at both Lake Reidsville and Lake Hunt. Hours will vary with seasons. This is a year‑round position, but the workload is heavier in the summer and lighter in the winter. The position will require working weekdays, weekends, nights, and on the date of the annual Independence Day celebration at Lake Reidsville.

Tasks cover light maintenance responsibilities such as:

• Raking
• Stocking and cleaning bathrooms
• Mowing
• Grounds beautification
• Installation of mulch
• Planting in plant beds
• Weeding plant beds
• Paintings and irrigation

Heavy maintenance activities include but are not limited to:

• Tree removal
• Disc golf course maintenance
• Repairs to facilities and equipment

Additional requirements:

• Knowledge of tools, materials, and equipment used in general labor work.
• Ability to maintain effective working relationships with employees and supervisors.

• Must be at least 18 years of age.>
• Working knowledge of methods and techniques used in general labor work.
• Knowledge of standard practices, materials, tools, and equipment in assigned work area.
• Reliable transportation to and from the job site.

• Valid NC driver's license.

Pre‑employment substance screening and background investigation required.
