- Education:
Secondary (high) school graduation certificate - Experience:
3 years to less than 5 years Tasks - Plan or adjust routes based on changing conditions, using computer equipment, global positioning systems (GPS) equipment, or other navigation devices, to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions
- Address customers' complaints or concerns
- Professionalism in customer service
- Obtain special permits and other documents required to transport cargo on international routes
- Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment
- Perform brake adjustments
- Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
- Transport and handle dangerous goods Security and safety
