What We Are Looking For
The Junior Developer position supports our internal applications, performs maintenance on existing software deployments, and provides day-to-day IT office support. The successful candidate will contribute to the use, support, and development of automation and data analysis tools used across the organization.
This role also offers the opportunity to help shape the future of our technology stack. You’ll participate in research, proof-of-concepts, and pilot projects that introduce innovative ideas and new technical capabilities into our corporate suite of applications. As part of a small, agile team, you’ll learn how to refine and enhance products through continuous feedback, experimentation, and collaboration.
What You Will Be Doing
Provide support for the development of new applications, as well as deployment and maintenance of existing applications
Assist with the implementation of our technical roadmap as TCO scales its services and builds new products
Monitor and support deployment of existing applications
Act as first touchpoint for internal and client tickets
Troubleshoot and resolve tickets as assigned
Participate in breaking down features into tasks and learning how to estimate effort and timelines
What You Will Bring
An awareness that technical choices affect delivery timelines and project cost
Basic to solid proficiency in Python, with exposure to web frameworks such as Flask, Django, or FastAPI
Introductory experience with Postgre

SQL or relational databases, including writing queries and understanding schemas
Familiarity with at least one frontend framework or library (e.g., React, Vue, or similar) is a plus
Understanding of core web concepts such as HTTP, APIs, and client–server architecture
Willingness to learn performance, scalability, and security best practices
Experience using Git or another version control system
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to learn new technologies quickly
Good communication skills and openness to feedback and mentorship

Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
0–2 years of professional software development experience, including internships, co-ops, or academic projects
Coursework or project experience involving web applications, APIs, or databases
Personal projects, open-source contributions, or bootcamp experience are strongly valued
