Job Functions:

*** Trouble shoot, repair and maintain CAT equipment in either a shop or field environment (possibility of remote locations)
* Respond to customer needs in a positive, supportive, and timely manner to ensure maximum value for work performed.
* Diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment to determine extent of repair required
* Providing support with reference to on-site safety requirements
* Maintain Finning Customer Service Commitment
** Specific

Skills & Experience:

*** Interprovincial Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Certification
* Valid class 5 drivers license with a successful driver's abstract
* Strong experience in Electrical, Hydraulic and Emissions systems
* Engine and/or component rebuilding experience
* Transmission or Hydraulic testing knowledge
* Previous gas engine and power generation experience is an asset
* Previous customer experience would be considered an asset
** Important Details:
*** A condition of employment may include the ability to obtain Customer Site access (Drug & Alcohol, fitness testing) and wear a respirator where applicable
* This is a Monday to Friday position based out of Swift Current but may require some travel
* 3rd or 4th Year Apprentices may be considered
* Alternative Journeyperson Certifications may be considered
