Transdev Canada is hiring an Apprentice Mechanic for our Regina location. Your role
- Conduct preventative maintenance inspections (PMIs), safety inspections, and annual maintenance inspections.
- Perform routine maintenance, including cleaning, lubricating, and handling routine repairs such as oil and tire change.
- Diagnose and perform all phases of vehicle and equipment repair, including brakes, engine tune‑ups, suspensions, drive trains, and transmissions.
- Use computer diagnostic equipment to identify faults or malfunctions and adjust or replace parts.
- Replace engines and transmissions, fuel injection, hydraulics, and electronics.
- Respond to road calls and provide emergency services as necessary.
- Move vehicles between work areas safely and perform test drives to ensure proper performance.
- Complete work orders accurately and maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities.
- Report dangerous equipment, corrective actions, and major safety observations to supervisors.
- Assist with staff training and participate in toolbox meetings.
- Follow Transdev's standards, policies, and procedures.
- Perform other responsibilities as assigned.
- Competitive salary between $47,424 and $77,250, depending on apprenticeship level and experience.

- You must be currently enrolled in a recognized mechanic apprenticeship program.
- You hold a valid driver’s license, required.
- You possess advanced problem‑solving ability.
- You possess advanced computer skills.
- You possess the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- This is a full‑time, non‑unionized position located in Regina, SK.
- There is a requirement to work Monday‑Friday from 6:30 AM to 3:30 PM.
