Electrician SK

Nutra Sun Foods is currently seeking a dependable, self-motivated individual to join our team as a Journeyman Electrician at our plant in Regina, SK. Reporting to the Production Manager, key areas of responsibilities are electrical troubleshooting, install / decommissioning of electrical components, PLC troubleshooting, and general maintenance.

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, control systems, and lighting within the facility.
• Inspect and troubleshoot electrical systems, transformers, circuit breakers to ensure safe and efficient operation.
• Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams for install and repair work.
• Fabricates, installs and/or runs conduit, 3-phase work, motor terminations, control and instrument troubleshooting and panel work.
• Diagnose and repair malfunctioning systems using appropriate testing devices and tools.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable electrical codes, safety standards, and company policies.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and inspections.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Valid Saskatchewan Journeyman License
• Industrial experience is an asset
• PLC experience an asset
• Current valid drivers license and drivers abstract required
• Physical fitness test required
• Previous experience in a food manufacturing setting is an asset
• Demonstrated problem solving/decision making skills
• Excellent communication skills
