A Day in the Life

The Medtronic Cranial, Spinal & Enabling Technologies Account Manager drives clinical adoption, sales growth, and customer satisfaction across assigned accounts. The role supports cranial and spinal procedures through expert product knowledge, in‑room case support, strategic account planning, and close collaboration with internal teams. The Account Manager is accountable for achieving revenue targets, expanding product utilization, navigating hospital procurement processes, and delivering solutions that improve patient outcomes while aligning with Medtronic’s standards of integrity, compliance, and innovation.

This role is dedicated exclusively to Regina General Hospital, and candidates must reside in Regina, Saskatchewan, or within a 60‑minute driving radius of the hospital.

Responsibilities
  • Promote and sell Medtronic products and services within an assigned geographic area or specific customer accounts to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Develop, build, and strengthen long‑term relationships with stakeholders, including distributors and healthcare professionals.
  • Pursue leads, assess needs, and provide product services to maximize the benefits derived from Medtronic products and/or services.
  • Promote and establish education of the company’s products and/or services.
  • Conduct market research including customers and competitors activities.
  • Implement market development plans/strategies and adjust as needed.
  • Communicate customer feedback on new products and/or modifications to existing products or applications to internal stakeholders including R&D, Operations, and Marketing.
Required Knowledge and Experience
  • High School Diploma (or equivalent) AND 6+ years of experience*
  • Associate’s Degree AND 4+ years of experience*
  • Bachelor’s Degree AND 2+ years of experience*
  • * Relevant sales, clinical, or related experience in medical devices, medtech, healthcare, or life sciences.
