Position: Queen City Distillers | Packaging Technician

Queen City Distillers is currently seeking a Packaging Technician for our Regina, Saskatchewan location. The Packaging Technician is responsible for safely and efficiently bottling, labeling, sealing, and preparing spirits for distribution, while maintaining high standards of quality control, cleanliness, and safety.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Operate packaging equipment including bottle fillers, cappers, labelers, and case packers
  • Perform routine setup, changeovers, and basic maintenance of packaging machinery
  • Inspect bottles and packaging for quality and consistency, ensuring all products meet company standards
  • Accurately label, seal, and case bottles of spirits
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the packaging area in accordance with health and safety standards
  • Complete production documentation, tracking batch numbers, quantities, and quality checks
  • Assist with inventory of packaging materials (bottles, caps, labels, boxes, etc.)
  • Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and sanitation regulations
  • Collaborate with other production and warehouse team members to meet daily targets
  • Support other distillery operations as needed, including cleaning and minor warehousing tasks

Required Skills

Required Experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a food, beverage, or manufacturing environment preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and quality standards
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding role (lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for extended periods)
  • Mechanically inclined and comfortable working with equipment and machinery
  • Team player with good communication skills and a strong work ethic
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately
  • Must be of legal age to work in a liquor manufacturing environment in Saskatchewan
