We are seeking a Senior Maximo Technical Consultant to support a large-scale enterprise data migration initiative involving the transition from IBM Maximo to SAP
. The consultant will play a critical role in analyzing, extracting, transforming, and migrating asset and maintenance data from Maximo into SAP while ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and alignment with SAP structures.
This is a hands-on technical role requiring deep Maximo expertise and strong SQL capabilities.
Duration - 4 months plus extension
work mode - % remote for candiates outside Calgary. For Calgary candidates it will be hybrid
Key Responsibilities
Lead technical activities related to Maximo data extraction and migrationAnalyze Maximo data structures (assets, work orders, PMs, locations, inventory, etc.)Develop and execute SQL queries for data validation, cleansing, and transformationMap Maximo data objects to SAP target structuresSupport data reconciliation, validation, and migration cyclesTroubleshoot migration defects and data inconsistenciesCollaborate with SAP functional and technical teams to ensure alignmentDocument data mappings, transformation logic, and migration proceduresParticipate in testing cycles (SIT, UAT, mock loads, cutover)Must-Have Skills & Experience
Strong technical expertise in IBM Maximo (data model, database structure, integrations)Advanced SQL skills (query writing, performance tuning, data validation)Hands-on experience with large-scale data migration projectsExperience working with enterprise asset management (EAM) systemsStrong understanding of data cleansing, transformation, and reconciliation processesAbility to work independently in a remote environmentNice-to-Have Skills
Experience with Maximo to SAP integration or migration projectsFamiliarity with SAP data objects related to Asset Management / Plant MaintenanceExperience working in oil & gas or industrial environmentsExposure to ETL tools or middleware solutions
