** How you’ll make an impact
** As a Senior Information Specialist, you’ll help keep FCC’s information, data, and technology assets safe and secure. With a focus on cybersecurity and technology risk, you’ll guide teams across the organization in managing risk in a way that’s practical, effective and aligned with our business needs.
You’ll collaborate with business and technology partners to strengthen cybersecurity policies and governance practices, while mentoring others and building strong organizational capability in secure and responsible technology use.

** What you’ll do
*** Lead the development and maintenance of enterprise cybersecurity and technology policies and standards
* Support consistent application of cybersecurity policies and standards across teams and initiatives
* Establish processes to monitor regulatory changes, industry trends and emerging cybersecurity risks
* Develop and deliver change management, communication and training materials
* Act as an informal mentor and coach to team members

* Required qualifications:
*** Bachelor’s degree in computer science, commerce, business administration or a related field
* Minimum five years of progressive experience in cybersecurity or IT risk
* Experience with NIST, ISO 27001 or similar frameworks
* Proven experience developing and implementing policies and governance processes
* Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder engagement skills
*
* Preferred qualifications:
*** A recognized cybersecurity, information security or information risk management certification (such as CISSP, CISM or CRISC)
* Experience developing or supporting policies, standards or governance practices related to information management, data management, privacy or other enterprise policy domains
* Experience interpreting and applying enterprise policies or standards to support practical risk management and decision‑making
