Job Description & How to Apply Below
The Opportunity We’re seeking a Microsoft Power Platform Architect to lead the design of sophisticated, enterprise-scale solutions across Power Pages, Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, AI services, and Azure integrations.
This is a strategic technical leadership role. You will define architectural patterns, guide governance models, and ensure scalability, security, and maintainability across complex client environments. You will work directly with senior stakeholders, delivery teams, and leadership to translate business objectives into robust technical blueprints.
As an Architect, you will design and oversee AI-enabled workflows, Copilot integrations, Azure OpenAI services, and data intelligence architectures within regulated environments.
We are building Canada’s premier boutique Microsoft Power Platform consultancy - deliberately, thoughtfully, and at a high technical standard. This role helps define that standard.
Requirements You are an architectural thinker with deep Microsoft ecosystem expertise and strong client-facing leadership skills.
You bring:
10+ years of experience delivering enterprise solutions within Microsoft technologies
Experience using Azure Dev Ops for work tracking, backlog management, version control, and release coordination
Advanced expertise across Power Pages, Power Apps, Dataverse, Power Automate, and Power BI
Strong Azure architecture experience (identity, integration, storage, networking, security)
Proven experience designing ALM strategies, Dev Ops pipelines, and governance frameworks
Demonstrated experience designing AI-enabled and Copilot-integrated architectures
Microsoft certifications PL-400 and PL-600 are required, others across PL, AI, AZ, or MB tracks encouraged
Experience leading architecture workshops and technical pre-sales engagements
Eligibility to work in Canada and obtain Government of Canada personnel security screening clearance
Responsibilities As a Microsoft Power Platform Architect, you will:
Establish technical standards, patterns, and governance practices
Design AI-enabled and Copilot-driven enterprise solutions
Lead architecture workshops and client technical discussions
Guide estimation, technical scoping, and proposal inputs
Oversee technical quality, scalability, and security
Mentor Senior and Intermediate team members
Shape internal capability and long-term technical strategy
Location and Work Environment This role follows a hybrid model, with work conducted remotely, from our Regina office, or on-site with clients as engagement needs require. Certain client-facing activities may involve in-person participation.
Working with Strathcona Solutions At Strathcona Solutions, Architects shape the direction of the firm - not just projects. You’ll operate with autonomy, influence, and executive-level visibility.
We offer architect-level compensation aligned with your expertise, performance-based incentives, and meaningful leadership opportunity. Advanced certifications are supported, innovation is encouraged, and excellence is expected.
Design the Summit If you’re ready to shape enterprise architecture, elevate AI-enabled delivery, and influence the trajectory of a growing national consultancy, we should talk. This is a role for technical leaders who want their work - and their standards - to matter.
