SAP Functional Consultant

Worksite:

Both on-site and off-site will be considered, however cost is a significant factor.
Off-site resources are required to work a minimum of hours overlap with Sask Power's standard business hours.

Position and/or Project

Description:


An SAP Functional Consultant is an IT professional who specializes in implementing and configuring SAP
software.

RESPONSIBILITIES (included but not limited to):

• Work closely with clients to comprehend their business processes, needs, and requirements.

• Translate requirements into SAP system configurations.

• Ensure that customizations align with the organization's specific needs.

• Document program settings and create guidelines for other consultants who may work on the
software in the future.

• Train company employees on how to use SAP software effectively, providing guidelines for efficient
utilization.

• Test system performance and efficiency, managing support tickets related to SAP software issues.

• Provide day to day configuration related support, maintenance, research, and development of the
SAP System. Include the planning, analysis, design, development, implementation, maintenance, and
support of SAP configuration changes.

• Enhance system components based on client requests or specifications.

• Document Configuration, Business Requirements, Functional Specifications, Technical Specifications,
Business Processes, blueprinting for solutions to be developed.

• Provide leadership in the development of new solutions in the SAP landscape.

• Collaborate with SAP Developers to create custom SAP applications tailored to each company's
needs.

Mandatory Education/

Certifications:

SAP EPPM certifications.

• Post-secondary education in computer technology (BSc, MSc)

Candidates must have experience in implementing SAP EPPM (PPM and PS) solutions in large or medium organizations.

• Demonstrated record of continuous improvement

• Technical aptitude with relevant business experience
• – years relevant SAP experience including implementation, upgrade, support and maintenance
experience, business experience etc.
