The Ministry of Social Services’ Income Assistance Programs Division is looking for a collaborative, respectful, motivated and strategic professional who is a strong writer to fill the role of Research and Information Analyst.

The Opportunity
Reporting to the Manager of Program Design and Operational Policy this position will coordinate all written materials for the division. You will work under tight deadlines to consistently produce high quality work.
This includes identifying and developing new communication tools that supports internal and external communications and analyzing and integrating information from multiple sources. This role will also analyze and create written materials from various sources, validate accuracy and ensure consistent data and information.
As the Research and Information Analyst, you will:

Confidentiality and the ability to exercise good judgment is required as well as the ability to develop excellent working relationships. The ideal candidate will enjoy the use of language to convey sometimes complex and sensitive concepts in a way that is fully understood by the end-user. Knowledge of government decision-making processes and income assistance IT systems is required.
You will demonstrate:
The knowledge and skills required are typically obtained through a university degree in English, journalism, social work or a related discipline, or a combination of education with relevant work experience.
