Position: INTERMEDIATE MUNICIPAL ENGINEER OR TECHNOLOGIST
Description:The ideal candidate is a professional engineer or licensee who is a self-starter, eager to work on diverse and impactful infrastructure projects within a supportive, multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities include:
Engineering designProject ManagementClient communicationsCollaboration with other disciplines and regulatorsContract administration during constructionField work as requiredPrepare technical reports and proposalsMPE’s Regina region covers a broad range of municipal engineering services including:
Water treatment and distributionWastewater collection, treatment and pumping facilitiesStormwater managementRural and urban transportationInfrastructure assessments and rehabilitation programsInvolvement in all project phases including conceptualization, detailed design, tendering, construction contract administration, and resident engineering.Qualifications:
Professional Engineer or Engineering Licensee designation in Saskatchewan (APEGS) or equivalent from out of province5+ years’ of relevant experience in the field of Municipal/Civil/Environmental EngineeringWorking knowledge of local regulations and design requirements of water, sewer, stormwater and transportation systemsProject Management experience would be preferred but not a requirementStrong communication skills in English, both written and verbalPossess a valid Class 5 Driver’s License and transportationWe
