Position Summary
Haztech is seeking an experienced Training Manager to lead and deliver high-quality safety training programs while supporting business development initiatives across Saskatchewan and surrounding regions. This role combines hands-on instruction, client engagement, and program development to ensure Haztech continues to provide industry-leading training solutions.
The Training Manager will be responsible for delivering courses 4–5 days per week, maintaining strong client relationships, supporting training program growth, and ensuring all instruction meets regulatory and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver Haztech safety training programs 4–5 days per week to a variety of industry clients
- Instruct Energy Safety Canada (ESC) courses, or possess the qualifications and experience necessary to obtain ESC instructor certification
- Maintain high standards of instruction, ensuring engaging and effective training delivery
- Support business development efforts, including client relationship management and identifying new training opportunities
- Coordinate with internal teams to schedule and manage training programs
- Travel outside of Regina and surrounding areas as required to deliver training at client sites
- Ensure all training materials and delivery methods remain current with industry regulations and best practices
- Maintain required certifications and professional development related to safety training instruction
- Experience delivering occupational health and safety training in industrial environments
- Experience instructing or the ability to become certified to teach Energy Safety Canada courses
- Strong communication, facilitation, and presentation skills
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain client relationships
- Experience supporting business development or client engagement initiatives is considered an asset
- Willingness and ability to travel outside of Regina for training delivery
- Valid driver’s license
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Previous experience delivering safety training in the energy, construction, or industrial sectors
- Familiarity with Energy Safety Canada standards and programming
- Experience managing training programs or coordinating instructors
