Overview
RAMC is looking for a MA, CMA or LPN to join us at our Walk-In Care!
Monday - Friday: 7AM-7PM
Weekends: 7AM-5PM
Every third weekend/Holiday required
Actual shift times will vary.

Position SummaryThe individual is responsible for a variety of patient care, technical, and clerical-related functions in the ambulatory setting. The Individual is responsible for clinic patient care as directed by the Provider or RN. The Individual may also be involved in the training and guidance of clinical staff. As a member of the patient care team, the Certified Medical Assistant is also aware of the psychosocial needs of patients and families.
Educationand Training Required
- Graduated from an accredited school where a diploma in Medical Assistant is granted.
- CMA certification through AMAA or CCMA, LPN or RN Licensure required.
- BLS certified.
- Must be able to deal with multiple priorities calmly.
- Required decision-making and problem-solving skills.
Physical Demands:
- Frequently sits while performing the tasks of the role (scheduling, developing & reviewing protocols/procedures, job descriptions, etc.)
- Occasionally carry objects weighing less than 10 pounds.
- Occasionally walk and stand.
- Occasionally lift up to 50 pounds while transferring and positioning patients and maneuvering equipment while using gait belts, transfer devices, etc.
- Occasionally bend to the floor, squat, kneel, crouch and reach overhead to assist with patient care or retrieve equipment or supplies.
- Occasionally handle objects, smell, feel, control knobs, switches and levers.
