- Teaching courses in introduction to agricultural business, agriculture economics, agriculture computer applications, agriculture accounting, agriculture marketing, farm management, agriculture sales and communication, agriculture ambassadors and career preparation, leadership, and more;
- Assisting in the operation of the Agriculture Business budget, facilities, and programs;
- Developing an Agriculture Business advisory committee and coordinate advisory committee meetings at least twice a year;
- Providing advice and mentorship for students within the department;
- Participating in recruitment activities with high school agricultural programs such as FFA competitive events and student leadership activities;
- Participating in Program Review and Student Learning Outcome development and assessment to improve student learning;
- Providing leadership in the development and implementation of new curriculum and academic programs that are in demand;
- Staying current in the discipline and participating in appropriate professional development activities;
- Increasing enrollment and completion, assisting students in job placement, and follow‑up with students in work experience and internship/externship opportunities;
- Serving on and attending department, college, and district committees;
- Assisting with the development and management of local, state and federal grants;
- Teaching assignments in a variety of instructional settings and times, including evening and/or weekends, online or off‑campus and large group instruction classes as needed; and
- Otherwise fulfilling all of the duties and responsibilities of faculty as required by Administrative Regulation 7122 Duties and Responsibilities of Instructors.
