Overview
We are currently on the lookout for an experienced Bus Driver to join our elite team in Redwood City, CA. As a key member, you will be entrusted with ensuring safe and comfortable transportation for our passengers, while upholding the highest standards of professionalism and customer service.
Compensation and Benefits- Starting pay: $30.00 with 10% Split Shift Differential
- Benefits include:
Union membership & pension, medical, dental & vision & 401(k) with company contribution after 60 calendar days of employment. - Vacation: 1 week upon completion of 1-year continuous service
- Sick: 56 hours annual sick leave

- Safety-Focused Operations:
Execute operations by following designated routes and schedules, while adhering to safety protocols and traffic regulations. - Passenger Care:
Provide exceptional care and assistance to passengers, ensuring smooth boarding, comfortable rides, and timely disembarkation. - Vehicle Vigilance:
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections, promptly report maintenance issues, and maintain cleanliness and safety equipment readiness. - Adherence to Protocols:
Uphold company policies and procedures, including seat belt enforcement, emergency readiness, and regulatory compliance. - Other duties as required
- 21 years or older
- Valid CDL Class A or B with passenger and airbrake endorsement
- Minimum 3 years of driving experience
- Excellent communication & customer service skills
- Must be able to work flexible schedules as needed, including weekends
- Subject to a DOT drug testing and physical if applicable. DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including cannabis, for any reason
- Work outside in varying temperatures and weather; 100% of the job is performed outside. Work alone and in remote locations
- Sit for extended periods (up to 6–8 hours per day); frequently walk long distances; navigate sloped ground or uneven surfaces
- Push and pull objects up to 50 pounds; lift up to 50 lbs; bend, kneel, or crouch as needed
- Withstand exposure to heavy traffic, dust, vehicle fumes, and noise
