Overview

Advanced Degree Software Engineer - Fusion s program targets bachelor’s, master’s, and doctorate graduates to work across multiple teams within the Applications Development organization. The program aims to enhance learning, build network, and accelerate impact. Create the future with us!

• Design and build innovative new systems from the ground up.
• Write code, complete programming projects, and perform testing and debugging of Oracle software.
• Work on cutting-edge technologies in a collaborative, agile environment.

• Completed a Master’s or Doctoral degree in Computer Science (or an equivalent science/engineering field) within 12 months of the actual start date, no later than August 2026. (Start date for all new grad roles: Summer/Fall 2026)
• Reside in the United States and/or attend a university in the US.
• Able to obtain work authorization in the US in 2026.
• Visa sponsorship is not available for this role. Oracle is not in a position to offer US immigration sponsorship (H-1B, TN, O-1, green card, F-1 e.g. EAD, OPT, CPT, I-20, F-1 visa stamp, etc.).
• Proficiency in Java; proficiency in one or more of these languages:
  Python, JavaScript, CSS, HTML, SQL, Scala.
• Have demonstrated experience (projects, internships, coursework, research) with one or more of the following:
  Android and/or iOS mobile app development;
  Unix/Linux OS;
  Big Data tools/frameworks (e.g., Spark, Hive, Hadoop, Map Reduce, Kafka).
• Completed coursework, projects, internships, or research in 3 or more of the following:
  Algorithms and Data Structures;
  Artificial Intelligence;
  Big Data;
  Database;
  Machine Learning;
  Object-Oriented Programming;
  Operating Systems;
  Software Programming;
  Web Development;
  Micro-Services Architecture;
  Container Architectures (Docker, Kubernetes);
  User Interface Design.
• Experience with XML, JSON, Node.js, JavaScript, REST APIs.
• Have completed at least one internship, research assistantship, teaching assistantship, or equivalent practical experience in the relevant technical areas.

• Minimum 3.0 GPA
