• As a Senior Frontend Engineer, you will develop and manage interactive web applications that empower scientists to visualize DNA sequencing data, identify mutations, and gain insights for transformative research.
  
  Key responsibilities include:
• Building user-friendly web apps using modern JavaScript frameworks and visualization tools to support DNA sequence analysis.
• Evolving into a leadership role, shaping the technical architecture of our data visualization platform and guiding product development.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, customer-facing solutions that enhance scientific workflows.
• Leveraging full-stack expertise to integrate frontend applications with backend systems, ensuring seamless data processing.
• Driving projects from concept to production, incorporating user feedback to refine features that delight researchers.
• Mentoring team members and fostering a collaborative, fast-paced environment to accelerate innovation.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.
• 7+ years of experience developing intuitive, customer-facing web frontends.
• 3+ years of technical leadership, managing teams to deliver web application products.
• Extensive expertise in data visualization frameworks such as D3.js and Deck.gl, with a focus on performance optimization.
• Proficiency in modern JavaScript frameworks like React, Vue.js, or Svelte.
• Experience with Python-based full-stack frameworks (e.g., Flask, Django) and REST API design.
• Knowledge of SQL and relational database modeling.
• Preferred:
  Experience with Web Assembly for compute-intensive frontend operations.
• Preferred:
  Strong interest in biotechnology and DNA sequencing visualization.
