As Head of Marketing, you will be the first dedicated marketing leader at Hammerhead, reporting directly to the CEO. This is a high‑impact role for a builder who is ready to own the entire marketing function—from defining our corporate narrative to driving the qualified leads that fuel our sales engine. You will start as a hands‑on department of one, executing critical campaigns today while building the strategy and team for tomorrow.
Key Responsibilities- Brand & Corporate Marketing:
Define Hammerhead’s market positioning and narrative, translating complex technical concepts into a compelling story that resonates with enterprise and data center clients. - Lead Generation:
Build and own the demand generation engine. Design and execute multi‑channel campaigns (AI‑powered email, social, SEO/SEM) to drive MQLs and pipeline growth. - Events & Field Marketing:
Lead our presence at key industry conferences and trade shows, strategizing and executing events to build brand awareness and capture high‑quality leads. - Content & Social Media:
Establish Hammerhead as a thought leader in the AI and energy sectors through a content strategy (white papers, case studies, blogs) that engages our technical audience, and maintain our social media presence. - Marketing Operations:
Implement the marketing tech stack, including CRM/automation tools and attribution models, to drive data‑driven decisions, measure performance and ROI from day one.
- AI‑first marketer:
You are well‑versed with modern AI tools and have demonstrated fluency with generative AI applications that aid marketing. - Experience:
5+ years of B2B marketing experience, preferably in a deep‑tech, SaaS, or AI/infrastructure startup. - Proven demand generation expert:
You have successfully built marketing funnels from scratch and can demonstrate revenue impact.
Technical aptitude:
You can comfortably discuss and write about complex topics like data center infrastructure, AI compute, and energy systems. - Startup mentality:
You are “scrappy” and strategic, able to set a high‑level strategy in the morning and write landing page copy in the afternoon.
