Zuora’s Corporate Operations organization powers our internal technology ecosystem, delivering digital experiences that connect teams, align priorities, and strengthen collaboration. The Business Applications team designs, implements, and optimizes systems supporting Finance, Accounting, Procurement, Legal, and Human Resources. The Business Systems Analyst – HR & Legal supports, maintains, and enhances applications that enable HR (ZEO Success) and Legal operations, combining functional understanding of processes with system administration, configuration, and analytics to drive efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.

Your Mission

As a member of the IT organization supporting G&A functions, the Business Systems Analyst - HR & Legal Systems collaborates with HR and Legal stakeholders to optimize business processes, strengthen system functionality, and support the introduction of new tools and integrations. You’ll act as a trusted partner, ensuring that business requirements are translated into scalable, effective system solutions.

Your Opportunity

As the Business Systems Analyst – HR & Legal, you’ll partner with cross-functional stakeholders to streamline processes, automate workflows, and improve system performance across core business applications. You’ll manage configurations, assist enhancements, support new implementations, and ensure that integrations between HRIS and Legal systems run seamlessly. Working with other BSAs and technical teams, you’ll help prioritize initiatives, refine requirements, and ensure smooth testing and deployment through agile delivery cycles.

Key Responsibilities Include
  • Serve as a functional and technical support partner for HR (ZEO Success) and Legal systems.
  • Support day-to-day operations including data maintenance, business process updates, and user administration.
  • Collaborate with HRIS and IT teams to maintain data integrity between Workday and other connected platforms.
  • Lead or contribute to system enhancement projects and assist in larger cross-functional initiatives.
  • Support new system implementations or integrations within the HR and Legal application landscape.
  • Partner with stakeholders to identify process gaps, gather requirements, and propose scalable, system-based solutions.
  • Perform data analysis, reporting, and auditing to ensure accuracy and compliance across systems.
  • Develop and maintain system documentation, SOPs, and training materials for business users.
  • Support system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and deployment activities.

OUR TECH STACK: Workday HCM (Core, Absence, Security), Custom Reports, Google Workspace, Lattice and other connected platforms

    Improve efficiency, reduce manual effort, and enhance accuracy across HR-related processes.
  • Enable Data Integrity:
    Ensure consistency and accuracy across Workday, HR and Legal systems through proactive monitoring and reconciliation.
  • Support New Implementations:
    Contribute to the rollout of new HR or Legal tools, from requirements gathering through testing and deployment.
  • Improve Business Agility:
    Partner with stakeholders to define and refine scalable system enhancements that align with operational needs.
  • Strengthen

    Build trusted relationships across HR, Legal, and IT, ensuring alignment and transparency in priorities and execution.
  • Promote Continuous Improvement:
    Identify and implement process and automation opportunities that drive measurable impact and user satisfaction.
What You’ll Need To Be Successful
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, HR, or related field (or equivalent experience).
