Content Architect; Product and Developer Documentation

Overview

Zuora, Inc. seeks Content Architect (Product and Developer Documentation) to:

• Establish and enforce content governance policies, ensuring consistency, efficiency, and high editorial standards across all documentation.
• Design, structure, and optimize large-scale documentation sets to improve readability, discoverability, and reuse.
• Define and implement content models to standardize documentation structure, metadata, and relationships between content components.
• Author and maintain developer-focused documentation, including OpenAPI specifications, CLI guides, and SDK documentation.

• Author and maintain developer-focused documentation (OpenAPI specs, CLI guides, SDK docs).

Position requires Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer or Electronic Engineering, or Information Systems or related field followed by 5 years of post-bachelor’s experience as a Developer, Technical Writer or in a related position.

Position requires 2 years of experience with API documentation (OpenAPI specifications) and 5 years of experience with each of the following:

• Technical writing for SAAS software products.
• Coding using Python, Java script and Node.
• Scripting with XML, HTML, and CSS.
• Source version control using Git Hub, Git Lab, or Bit Bucket.
• Developing, testing, and applying APIs.
• Configuring and using billing, accounting, and payment SAAS systems.
• Structured DITA using Oxygen XML, Adobe Frame Maker, Mad Cap Flare, or Heretto.

The base pay details represent the annualized salary range for the posted position. While we share a comprehensive range, a candidate’s final base salary will fall within these guidelines and will be determined based on multiple factors including but not limited to: qualifications of the candidate, job related knowledge, prior related experience, specific and unique skills, the location of the role, internal equity and internal budget.
