Overview
GENERAL SUMMARY
The Operations Associate is responsible for contributing to the success of the overall operation by assisting in a variety of roles throughout the club. These associates provide the highest level of member service, maintain club cleanliness, and demonstrate a positive and professional attitude. This position enhances knowledge of operations and hospitality and supports career growth by gaining experience in all aspects of the Club.

Primary Job FunctionsCustomer Service
- Greet members and guests upon arrival to the Club.
- Check members in by verifying their membership.
- Ensure all guests complete a Guest Registration Waiver and pay any applicable guest fees.
- Book appointments, programs, and class reservations for members and guests.
- Provide information regarding Club programming and facilities.
- Deliver exceptional service to members, guests, and associates with the goal of repeat business.
- Represent the club professionally through image, dress, communication, and timely follow-through.
- Provide guest/prospect lead contact information to the membership sales team.
Reception Desk Oversight (if applicable)
- Operate cash register.
- Process payments.
- Manage and balance cash drawer each shift.
- Perform opening and/or closing duties as required.
- Answer and transfer phone calls.
Café Oversight (if applicable)
- Create and serve food and beverage items.
- Promote daily specials and encourage upgrades to each order.
- Operate cash register and process payments.
- Open/close duties as required.
- Maintain a clean, safe work environment according to state and local food safety standards.
- State Food Handler Certification (if applicable).
- Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) certification if serving alcohol.
Pool Deck Oversight (if applicable)
- Greet members and guests upon arrival to the Pool Area.
- Act as a Host in the designated area or event space.
- Work with the F&B team to offer food and drinks from designated outlets and support the kitchen as needed.
- Offer seating and tours of pool deck amenities.
- Communicate and book appointments for programs and events.
- Provide information regarding Club programming and facilities updates.
- Maintain refreshment stations and towels as needed.
Parking Garage Oversight (if applicable)
- Warmly greet each member and verify membership upon check-in.
- Audit cars parked in the garage when necessary.
- Perform opening and/or closing duties as required.
Cleanliness
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and stock levels throughout the Club (Sports Desk, Locker Rooms, Lobby, Fitness Areas, Pool Deck, and surrounding areas).
- Detail cleaning and preventive maintenance (re-stocking towels, emptying and wiping trash cans, disinfecting toilets and showers, cleaning mirrors, vacuuming, mopping, and dry mopping).
- Restock supplies and maintain inventory and janitorial products.
- Maintain a clean, safe work environment.
- Assist with laundry functions (collecting, washing, drying, folding towels).
Communication and Relationships
- Communicate timely and follow up as appropriate.
- Active participation in events, programs, meetings, and trainings.
Other Job Functions
- Flexibility in work schedule, including day and evening shifts, weekends, and holidays.
