Highly private family of 4 in a multi-staffed home is seeking a full time housekeeper with a calm demeanor. The housekeeper will be supported by a bi-monthly deep-cleaning team, along with a full household staff that includes chefs and nannies who assist in various areas of the home. The Housekeeper reports to the Chief of Staff, and works closely alongside house manager all other staff to accomplish team goals.

A high level of support is provided to ensure performance, although this position is expected to perform independently for extended periods. The housekeeper is expected to have reliable transportation arranged, beginning duties promptly every day at the assigned time, and actively demonstrate on a daily basis: positive attitude, helpfulness toward team members, and pride in a job well done.

3 or more years of experience working in a private home with verifiable references

Fluency in English

• Use of written checklists each day, to ensure all areas are cleaned as determined.
• Basic house cleaning (bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, staff areas, common areas, flooring, rugs, drapes, living areas, courtyards, gym, garage, shelving, bookcases, storage areas).
• Change bed linens 1x/week/as needed, launder items.
• Laundry of washable and delicate items such as lingerie and wool.
• Launder all family laundry and a small amount of ironing. (The home includes a spacious laundry room equipped with multiple washers and dryers, as well as a professional steam iron)
• Detail attention to dusting/brushing/sweeping out cobwebs, in various locations throughout the house, using appropriate soft brushes and extended poles.
• Use of appropriate non-toxic cleaning products and cleaning methods for all specific surfaces, as provided/directed by the family or chief of staff.
• Washing pots/pans as needed, and loading/unloading the dishwasher.

• Cabinet and closet organization, ensuring items are consistently put away as needed, and common household items can be readily located.
