Are you eager to advance your career in medical billing? We’re looking for a Medical Biller to join one of our top healthcare partners in Redwood City, CA
.

Who We’re Seeking:

A reliable and detail-oriented professional with strong knowledge of insurance and billing processes, along with excellent communication skills to work collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and submit both electronic and paper insurance claims to multiple payers, including government, managed care, and commercial entities
• Conduct follow-up actions on outstanding or unpaid accounts
• File and manage claim appeals with insurance payers
• Analyze and resolve payer denials
• Process and issue refunds related to accounts payable
• Record and transfer payments from professional billing to hospital billing systems
• Audit accounts to identify and address potential underpayments

Qualifications:

• At least two years of relevant professional experience
• Familiarity with and practical understanding of the appeals and denials process
• Experience using EPIC software is highly desirable
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
